🍂 Welcome to the Hike Off the Turkey Series

After a day of eating, relaxing, and reconnecting, kickstart your energy with one of Big Bear’s most beloved seasonal traditions.

The Hike Off the Turkey Series is a collection of five guided hikes the weekend after Thanksgiving. We designed them to reset your body, refresh your mind, and return to nature after the big holiday meal. Whether you prefer an easy family outing or a more stimulating mountain climb, we’ve got the perfect post-feast trail for you.

These are the hikes your whole group can enjoy: casual, refreshing, and filled with crisp mountain air.

2️⃣ Cougar Crest Trail Hikes (Moderate, 3 Hours)

A more challenging outing for hikers who want to wake up the legs and torch off yesterday’s feast.
