Hearts and Hikes Experience

Hearts and Hikes: Our February Trail Series

Some moments deserve more than a reservation or a routine plan. Our Hearts and Hikes Experience is a February hiking series created to honor connection in a way that feels natural, relaxed, and meaningful, and that’s outdoors, under the pines, and away from distractions.

These guided hikes are for anyone who wants to celebrate connection in a unique way. Whether you’re sharing the trail with a partner, close friends, chosen family, or simply spending time with yourself, the Hearts and Hikes Experience is about slowing down and being present.

Why Celebrate Connection on the Trail

A hike creates space that everyday life rarely does. Walking side by side allows conversations to unfold naturally. Quiet moments don’t feel awkward. There’s no rush, no pressure, and no script, just movement, fresh air, and time together.

Honoring your bond on the trail means:

  • Sharing an experience instead of or in addition to exchanging gifts
  • Moving together rather than multitasking
  • Letting nature set a calm, grounding tone

The Hearts and Hikes Experience is about meaningful time, not grand gestures. Sometimes the simplest moments are the ones that stay with you longest.

Choose Your Hearts and Hikes Experience

Woodland Trail

This easy, feel-good hike is perfect if you’re looking for something light, welcoming, and unhurried. The Woodland Trail offers gentle terrain, peaceful forest scenery, and a relaxed pace that leaves room for conversation and connection.

1.5 hours | Easy | $50 per person

Cougar Crest Trail

For those who want a more immersive experience, the Cougar Crest hike offers extended time on the trail and a deeper sense of retreat. This guided hike moves at an intentional pace, with scenic views and quieter moments along the way.

4 hours | Moderate | $100 per person

Signature Trail Moment

Both experiences include a thoughtfully guided pause designed to bring the focus back to your connection. At a scenic spot along the trail, your guide will lay out a picnic blanket and lead an optional activity that invites reflection and conversation around your relationship, however you define it.

The activity is simple, low-pressure, and meant to feel natural rather than performative. Some groups find it meaningful, others keep it light and playful, and both approaches are equally welcome. There’s no requirement to share publicly or participate beyond your comfort level.

During this pause, participants may enjoy a white wine or non-alcoholic toast, take in the surroundings, and simply spend a few intentional minutes together before continuing on the trail.

This moment is designed to feel unhurried, grounded, and personal, an experience that often becomes the most remembered part of the hike.
