Women’s Gatherings

A Weekend in the Mountains Can Change Your Perspective

Step away from the usual routine and spend a little time in the Big Bear mountains, with guided hikes, meaningful experiences, and the kind of connection that happens naturally when you get outside together.

Find Your Weekend

Whether you’re drawn to the changing seasons, a weekend with other women, or simply a chance to experience Big Bear in a different way, each gathering has its own character.

Our retreats are intentionally small, giving you the opportunity to explore, connect, and enjoy the mountains without feeling like you’re following a packed itinerary.

Come For the Mountains. Stay For the Experience.

A Big Bear retreat isn’t about packing every minute of your weekend with activities. It’s about having enough planned to make the weekend feel special, while leaving room for the moments you can’t schedule.

Expect guided time on the trails, experiences designed around the season, good conversation, and plenty of opportunity to enjoy the mountains at your own pace.

Just come ready to experience Big Bear in a different way.

Explore the Mountains

A guided hike and other outdoor experiences introduce you to some of Big Bear’s beautiful trails and seasonal scenery.

Connect With Other Women

Small groups and shared experiences make it easy to meet other women without forcing connection.

Make Time For Yourself

There’s time to relax, explore, reflect, or simply enjoy being somewhere different.

Come As You Are

You don’t need to be an experienced hiker, a lifelong outdoorswoman, or someone who already knows everyone in the group.

These gatherings are for women who want to spend a little time in the mountains, try something new, meet good people, and experience Big Bear in a way that feels meaningful to them.

Whether you come with a friend or arrive on your own, there’s room for you here.

No Hiking Experience Required

Our hikes are guided, and each retreat will include details about the trail, distance, and difficulty so you know what to expect before you arrive.

Come With a Friend or Come Solo

Some women arrive with a friend. Others come on their own and leave having met people they wouldn’t have otherwise crossed paths with.

Either way, you won’t be expected to know anyone when you arrive.

Make the Weekend Your Own

Join the activities that appeal to you, enjoy some quiet time when you need it, and take advantage of the opportunity to experience Big Bear your way.

Your Weekend, Thoughtfully Planned

Each gathering is different, but you’ll always know what you’re signing up for before you arrive. Retreat details, including activities, hiking information, accommodations, meals, pricing, and what’s included, will be provided with each individual gathering.

Guided Mountain Experiences

Explore Big Bear with Shauna through guided hikes and seasonal outdoor experiences designed specifically for the retreat.

Time to Enjoy the Weekend

The schedule leaves room to relax, explore, have a conversation, or simply enjoy being in the mountains.

Small-Group Experience

Keeping gatherings small allows the weekend to feel personal and gives everyone more opportunity to connect.

Seasonal Experiences

Each retreat has its own theme and character, shaped by the season and what’s happening in the mountains around you.
